Trinity Place Condominiums front garden was completely redesigned after years of neglect. The garden, located in Copley Square, was completely overgrown fully obscuring the views through the site and hiding the piece of art located in the center of the garden. Our design focused on raising the canopy of the mature Magnolia trees that lined the garden and lowered the rest of the planting to create sight lines all the way through the garden and re-opening views to the sculpture. The garden was planted with low growing Yews and Euonymus and large areas of Hakonechloa and Liriope were patterned to mimic the angularity of the site and the sculpture.
